3 Easy Steps to a Pest Free Home:

Protecting your home from pests with our SAFEPerimeter™ treatment couldn't be easier. It consists of three simple steps:

  • Step 1: An inspection
  • Step 2: An analysis and estimate
  • Step 3: Perimeter treatment
frontyard

Once our trained technician inspects the perimeter of your home, an estimate will be prepared and presented to you. Upon your approval, a treatment will be scheduled. Because the exterior of your home is treated, there’s no waiting around for a technician to come by to put the perimeter pest control plan into action.

Tough on pests, easy on you.

SAFEPerimeter™ consists of four treatments. They start in early spring and take place once every 6-8 weeks for ongoing control.

  • Technicians apply a 10-foot wide barrier around the perimeter of your home and directly on the foundation up to 5 feet.
  • Special attention to cracks or small openings is given during the house foundation treatment.
  • Ground cover, mulched areas, and low growing foliage around the foundation are given attention as they may harbor pests.
  • Each outside door threshold is treated to stop insect entry.
  • Technicians spray around and under wooden decks for spiders and insects when adequate space is available.
  • Foundation vents and windows are common entry points for insect intruders, so they are carefully inspected and treated.

After treatment, the technician will leave behind a notice letting you know that it’s been completed, If you have any questions or concerns that you want to discuss with the technician, simply call us at (908) 660-4399 or click here to contact us.

What could be more hassle free? We believe this is the easiest, yet toughest treatment to prevent pests from invading your home.

Application Schedule:

Spring Barrier Application: Initial treatment to help prevent ants, pillbugs and other early pests from entering your home after spring rains.
Early Summer Barrier Application:Targets fleas, ticks, ground beetles, ants and other summer pests from gaining entry.
Mid Summer Barrier Application: Targets ants and in the surrounding soil, spiders, crickets, silverfish, beetles and a number of insects that mature during midsummer.
Late Summer/Mid-Fall Application: Controls many insects. This treatment also helps reduce and eliminate the number of insects and other pests from entering before cold weather begins, such as boxelder bugs, millipedes and spiders.

FAQs

Why should the outside as well as the inside of my home be treated for pests?

By treating the interior of your home, you are protected against any pest that my be brought in from sources outside the home. By treating the exterior of your home, pests can be stopped in their tracks before they ever get to migrate from the immediate area outside your home and invade your family's living space.

How long does a perimeter pest treatment last?

Our SAFEPerimeter™ and SAFEPerimeter+Lawn™ treatments stop pests in just five minutes. The treatment typically lasts six to eight weeks. However, it often depends on your specific pest problem and geography. Renewal applications may be needed depending on the size of your problem, your climate and other factors.

What should I do to prepare for a perimeter treatment?

One of the best things about perimeter pest control is how easy it is on you. Unlike an indoor treatment where you are required to cover and move certain items, there is little preparation on your part prior to the treatment. Simply close the windows, and pick up any items lying next to your house. Another plus: Since the exterior of your home is being treated, you don't have to be home for the technician to apply the treatment.

Where exactly does the perimeter treatment take place?

The pest control product we use for perimeter treatments is applied in a band (up to 10-feet wide) of soil, mulch and lawn surrounding and adjacent to your home. It can also be applied directly on your home's foundation (depending on your individual situation) up to a height of 2 to 5 feet. This area is where pests usually are found and can enter your home.

Should children and pests be kept away from the treated area?

Children and pets should be kept off the treated area until surfaces are dry.

Is there any odor with the treatment?

No. One of the many advantages of the product we use is that there are no bothersome odors for your family and pets.
